Learning Korean with Bin

Learning Korean with Bin
This is a real test. Introducing my Korean out of nowhere teacher (I met him and I instantly declared him to be my teacher), Lee Bin (
).

Previously I had other Korean teacher whom I got from my sister’s friend. He tested me reading. Phew! Luckily I passed at that time. He said it’s not that bad. Aki, that’s how I called him, is very eager in teaching me Korean. I got a little awkward when he felt sorry that I had to travel for hours to meet and learn with him. Shouldn’t that be me who felt sorry for disturbing his
staying here to study Indonesian language?

Anyhow, he kept assisting me learning Korean everywhere, that even when we were in mall and among the crowds. I asked him to speak Korean, so then I could practice my speaking skill. Most of the times, I got him to repeat his sentences because I couldn’t grasp them. He was very patient in fulfilling my request.

Sudden Test
One day when I came to his lodging house, he made me do the test, listening test. For those who learn Korean here (not in Korea), they will have some difficulties in distinguishing the pronunciation between and , and , , and , , and, and, , and, , and . Well, that’s the fact at least for me.

During the test I had to ask him to repeat his words. And the result I made 5 mistakes from 25 questions. Huh! 진짜 힘들어요 (It’s really difficult) But since I like the language, it becomes a challenge for me to conquer it. Especially, now I am teaching to the kids. I have to be able to really master it with or without any teacher. 산산, 항복하지 . ! 화이팅!
^^/

프라이팬 놀이/Frying Pan Game/BTS

Playing Frying Pan Game/BTS We played a new game called Frying pan game (프라이팬 놀이) with our Korean guests in our Korean Class. It was fun. It’s like catching the mouse game. We learn the Korean numbers in the same time.  Say, if your friend mentions your name and the number, you have to mention your name according to the number he/she mentions previously.  For example, if your friend says "Dana dul (2)", so you have to say your name twice, "Dana...Dana" and so on and so on. If you make a mistake, well, you get the punishment. The type of the punishment depends on the agreement of the players. They are many types, trust me. Just choose one.  This game was played on one of the TV programs in Korea hosted by Kang Ho Dong (강 호 동), Hye Ryong said. 재미 있네요. 우리 애들이 놀이를 좋아해요.  But hey! BTS too played this game on one of their TV shows.  You can check out the video  here  So far, we have learned many Korean games. Mostly we got...

Kalau aku tidak salah ingatan, adiku (he..he..he.. yang bayar adiku) harganya sekitar 160 Yen per satu Taiyaki. Untuk memastikan harga terbaru, karena aku pergi ke korea terakhir tahun 2015, aku cek di si Mbah Google ...

This Time We Tried Rafting, A Funny Rafting

This Time We Tried Rafting, A Funny Rafting After that tiring walking in Ranca Upas, this time we tried rafting. Hmm…it seemed we had an endless adventure. Yup, I think so too. I guess we’re addicted to adventure now. It’s so different with one of my friends who is addicted to making cakes….^^; Last Saturday we did our first adventure with water. That Saturday rafting is our first rafting. Oh, the place is located in Pangalengan. Geez, I couldn’t stand that winding road. It made all of us feel uncomfortable. To distract my mind of that winding road, I kept eating “Kwaci” till we arrived in the spot. It worked really well in releasing the wind off my stomach.^^ Once setting the feet in Pangalengan, the first thing I did was taking out my camera and capturing the amazing views. If you see those photos, they might remind you of places in Europe or in the USA . I feel like that every time I see them. Lovely, if I may say. Well, nature always succeeds in blowing me away. N...
