Have you been to Mt. Tangkuban Perahu? It’s one of the tourist resorts in West Java. It’s a volcanic mountain. On one Saturday my fellow teachers and I went to Tangkuban Perahu for some refreshing. We didn’t go straight to Tangkuban perahu, instead, we stopped at Jayagiri and started to walk from there to get to the mountain.The weather was very cloudy. We were afraid that it would rain soon. Luckily it didn’t. We were able to talk a walk without the rain. Since I brought my digital camera with me, my friends and I never forgot to pose. We always hunted for a good place as our background. We stopped for a while to have our lunch then continued our journey.
Finally we arrived at Tangkuban Perahu. It was crowded since it’s Saturday. Many visitors came to have a recreation with their family and friends. When we were having our lunch, it rained heavily. Since we were hungry, rain didn’t stop us from enjoying our lunch. We used umbrellas to protect us. We took some pictures near the crater. The weather was very cold plus the rain.
If you need hat or scarf to protect you from the cold, you just buy there. They are some sellers who sell hat and scarf besides the souvenirs and food. If you feel like riding a horse to take a tour, it is also available. And there’s an interesting thing you can do there. You can eat an egg that boiled inside the crater. Curious about the taste, well just go there and taste it. Have a good vacation.
