Uri Hangugo Ban

This is my Korean class. It is a new class in our school. Here we learn not only about the language but also about the culture, the food, and even the games. The children seem to enjoy the cooking activity. The kids favorite game is Jwireul jabja (catching the mouse). We always have new Korean guests in our class.
This is the picture of my new Korean class. The picture is taken after we finished doing our language festival. We went to the famous photo studio in Bandung. The girls like wearing hanbok (korean traditional outfit) very much. It takes them back to the era of Dae Jang Geum. Once they wear it, it will hard for them to take it off. They feel special wearing it, especially if they go walking around in mall because many eyes will stare at them (Guess they love become a star for a day). The Korean will give comment once they see us wearing hanbok. They said that they felt weird to see hanbok and scarf. Well, since we are from Islamic school, so we wear hanbok and scarf too^___^
So...if you want to see our festival just come to SMU PLUS MUTHAHHARI to see our language festival where we will show you tradition and sell the food of the countries too. You want to see Jang Geum in scarf...just visit our school....

Playing Frying Pan Game/BTS We played a new game called Frying pan game (프라이팬 놀이) with our Korean guests in our Korean Class. It was fun. It’s like catching the mouse game. We learn the Korean numbers in the same time.  Say, if your friend mentions your name and the number, you have to mention your name according to the number he/she mentions previously.  For example, if your friend says "Dana dul (2)", so you have to say your name twice, "Dana...Dana" and so on and so on. If you make a mistake, well, you get the punishment. The type of the punishment depends on the agreement of the players. They are many types, trust me. Yutnori

Yutnori Apa itu Yutnori ? Hmmm... pernah dengar yutnori (dibaca: yunnori)? kata ini bukan berasal dari bahasa Jawa tapi bahasa Korea. Yutnori adalah nama salah satu permainan tradisional Korea.  Permainan ini biasa dimainkan secara beregu ketika acara tahun baru Korea yang disebut juga 설날 (sollal) . Tahun baru biasanya menjadi ajang kumpul seluruh anggota keluarga. Selain makan Tteokguk , mereka biasanya memainkan Yutnori . Ini penampakan Yutnori , ada papan permainan dan dadunya. Yang unik, dadunya tidak bentuk kotak seperti kebanyakan dadu pada umumnya tapi berbentuk batangan. Hal lain yang membedakan dadu  yutnori  dari dadu pada umumnya adalah tidak ada bentuk titik-titik yang melambangkan angka. Yang ada itu tulisan  도  (Do),  개  (Gae),  걸  (Gul), dan  윷  (Mo) .   Eh, permainan ini pernah muncul disalah satu drama Korea yang dulu nge-hits banget dulu, Princess Hours. Bungeoppang a.k.a Taiyaki

Bungeoppang a.k.a Taiyaki “ What did Archimedes say? “Eureka”. I would like to borrow his word for my little success although I didn’t invent anything. ”     Aku udah bingung banget cari resep Bungeoppang , kue isi pasta kacang merah berbentuk ikan. Coba beberapa resep tetep tak sukses. Lalu aku tengok resep sodara tuanya Bungeoppang , Taiyaki . Ceritanya dulu orang Jepang yang memperkenalkan Taiyaki ke Korea saat jaman pendudukan mereka dulu. Nah, kalo orang Korea bilang Bungeoppang itu sama a ja  dengan Taiyaki . Untuk sejarah   Taiyaki dan Bungeoppang bisa dicari di Wikipedia .
