Ini Pasar Baru coy. Yup, this market is called Pasar Baru where you can find goods in a reasonable price of course that if you know how to bargain. If you are foreigner, you need to bring along your Indonesian friends who know how to bargain or else…. Mostly those buyers who come here are retailers. They buy the goods to be sold again. But not all of them are merchants. Some of them are housewives, students or tourists. If you don’t feel satisfied with the price at one vendor, you can just walk away and search for the other vendor who will give you the same goods but with cheap price. It’s a matter of feet here. Why did I say that? It’s because you have to do the walking a lot. You have to move from one vendor to another. If you are not a real shopper, you will get so bored and get cranky and leave right away or just buy the goods and forget about the price. That’s me. I am not a real shopper, so I always bring a friend of mine who is really good in bargain...

This place looks very crowded, don’t you think? It’s Gasibu. It is located in front of Gedung Sate. On Sunday it changes its function as a traditional market. If you happen to come to Bandung, don’t forget to come. You’ll see many things from food, attire to pet. Actually, Gasibu is used for jogging but since the sellers keep adding, so no more space for jogging. The price is very cheap compared to other places but that you can get if you know how to bargain. Once again the skill of bargain is very useful here. You have to know the trick to get a cheap price. This is my favorite place for recreation. Once a month I usually go with my friends here. Ah, another thing to be informed. Since the place is very crowded, make sure you keep your valuable things safely. What are those? Can you guess? Those are Hanbok. Hanbok is Korean traditional dress. It’s very beautiful, my favorite kind of dress. In fact, I love to wear for special occasion. So far, I have worn hanbok at the school graduation and my friend’s engagement party. I plan to wear it to a wedding party. By wearing it, I feel really special. People start to stare. Hehehe…that’s why I feel special. Now, I will explain a bit about hanbok.
